The book: Beautiful child's tale that is as much an introduction of nature and natural phenomena as it is a story about a boy king and little princess. The boy's "kingdom" is the great outdoors and he travels his land discovering its wonders. He always looked for wonders he could carry back to his "Princess True" , a little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes who never traveled from home herself.
The author: Mary Earle Hardy (1846 -1928) - American botanist, conchologist and author.
The illustrator: Milo Winter (August 7, 1888 – August 15, 1956) was an American book illustrator. He created editions of Aesop's Fables, Arabian Nights, Alice in Wonderland, A Christmas Carol, Gulliver's Travels, Tanglewood Tales (1913), and others.
