The book: Scarce and attractive First Edition of this book on Grace Horsley Darling (24 November 1815 – 20 October 1842) -- an English lighthouse keeper's daughter. Her participation in the rescue of survivors from the shipwrecked Forfarshire in 1838 brought her national fame. The paddle steamer ran aground on the Farne Islands off the coast of Northumberland in northeast England; nine members of the crew were saved. . A rare find in any condition!
