The author: Wissenbach: Johann Jacob W., was a professor in Franeker and known, among other things as a legal critic and Roman Law specialist. Born in Frohnhausen near Dillenburg on October 8, 1607, † on February 16, 1665 in Franeker. His father Johann W., Pastor of Frohnhausen, sent him to the neighboring Latin school in Dillenburg when he was still young, where he laid a good foundation for his learned education under the guidance of the excellent school man, the Rector Philipp Textor.
