Binding: Attractive and very good, near fine full-morocco leather binding finely bound by Leighton bindery (hinges fine, overall slightly scuffed - as shown) under a protective removable mylar cover. All edges are gilt.
Content: Very good, near fine content (bright, tight, and clean, scarce light foxing - as shown). An exceptionally clean copy.
Illustrations: Complete with all the wonderful vignettes and full-page illustrations by William Harvey.

The book: Very attractive First English edition of this classic of children's literature where a child takes an idyllic journey of discovery through the natural world.
