Binding: Attractive and good contemporary leather binding with intricate gilt decorations on the spine and boards. The cover features a central gilt-stamped emblem of a double-headed eagle holding a scepter and orb, symbolizing power and authority. The spine displays raised bands with gilt floral motifs in the compartments and the title "Justinus" in gilt (hinges worn and cracked but still tight and secure, overall worn and scuffed - as shown)  under a protective removable mylar cover.
