Binding: Attractive and good to very good original light brown paper-covered boards, lettering on upper cover and spine printed in dark green, upper cover with inset oval colored illustration (the spine shows signs of wear, especially at the edges, but the binding remains firm - as shown, overall slightly worn and scuffed - as shown) under a protective removable mylar cover. A rare find in any condition!
Content: Very good content (bright, tight and clean, rare light foxing - as shown, Provenance: Douglas Clark Midgley of New Jersey (inscription ‘To Douglas / from / Aunt Mabel / Birthday 1906’ on the first endpaper - as shown)).
