Binding: Attractive and very good original illustrated full-cloth binding designed by Laurence Housman (hinges fine, overall slightly worn and scuffed - as shown, spine slightly darkened) under a protective removable mylar cover. A very beautiful binding!
Content: Very good content (bright, tight, and clean, rare light foxing - as shown, toning of endpapers - as shown, Aylmer Vallence's heraldic bookplate 'Volens si Valens' on first endpaper - as shown).
Illustrations: Complete with the 13 beautiful full-page Art Nouveau illustrations as well as a lovely pictorial title page and cover design by Laurence Housman.

He studied art in London. He was a younger brother of the poet A. E. Housman and his sister was writer/illustrator Clemence Housman.
