Content : Very good content (bright, tight and clean, nice ex libris of Doreen & Don Dutton on first endpaper).
Illustrations : Illustrated with full page colored plates and in text illustrations by Walter Paget (1863–1935) British illustrator. He received a gold medal from the Royal Academy of Arts.He was a younger brother of the Sherlock Holmes illustrator Sidney Paget.

The author: John Bunyan (30 November 1628 – 31 August 1688) was an English writer and Puritan preacher best remembered as the author of the Christian allegory The Pilgrim's Progress. In addition to The Pilgrim's Progress, Bunyan wrote nearly sixty titles, many of them expanded sermons.
