Binding: Attractive, scarce and good to very good original pictorial cardboards with a striking chromolithograph illustration on the front cover depicting Old Mother Goose as a witch, dressed in a billowing red cloak and pointed hat, flying through the night sky on a large goose, broomstick in hand. The back cover features a similarly whimsical scene of an old woman in traditional attire, riding a white goose against a moonlit backdrop. Spine in red cloth (hinges fine, overall slightly worn, soiled and scuffed - as shown) under a protective removable mylar cover. A rare find in any condition!
Content: Good content (tight, some foxing, toning and staining mainly on the lower edge of some of the pages - as shown).
