Binding: Attractive and very good original cream cloth, beautifully decorated and lettered in gilt to the upper board and spine, with fairy figures and Art Nouveau ornamentation. All edges gilt. Light soiling and gentle age-toning to the cloth, slight wear and bumping to extremities, as shown. Protected in a removable mylar cover. 
Content: Very good content, bright and clean overall, with light foxing mainly to the text pages, as shown. Pictorial endpapers toned, as shown.
Illustrations: Complete with 24 full-page colour illustrations by Florence Harrison, all clean and bright. With charming line drawings surrounding and accompanying the poems throughout.
