Binding: Attractive and very good original publisher full cloth binding with gilt embossed decoration to front board and blind stamped rear board decoration (hinges fine, overall slightly worn and scuffed - as shown, gilt on spine faded - as shown) under a protective removable mylar cover.
Content: Very good content (bright, tight and clean, some light foxing and staining mainly on the outer edges/margins of text pages - as shown, (the color plates are all fine)).
Illustrations: Complete with 16 wonderful tipped-in color plates by Arthur Rackham, each with tissue guards and numerous black and white line drawings within the text.
