The book set: A grandiose and impressive two-volume set of "Le Morte Darthur", which stands as one of the last great epic romances in the English language. Depicting the life of the legendary King Arthur and his Knights, this edition combines the traditional tales with vibrant and imaginative illustrations.

The author: Sir Thomas Malory (c. 1415–1471) was an English writer, the author or compiler of "Le Morte d'Arthur". The antiquary John Leland (1503–1552) has identified him as Sir Thomas Malory of Newbold Revel in Warwickshire, but this attribution is not without dispute.

The illustrator: William Russell Flint (1880–1969) was a Scottish artist and illustrator who was known especially for his watercolour paintings of women. His works have been admired for their intricate detail, vivid colour, and masterful rendering. His distinctive style brings new dimensions to this classic text, making it a must-have for fans and collectors alike.
