Content: Very good content (bright and tight, light foxing and staining mainly on the preliminary 2 pages including the title page and the outer edge - as shown, Sunday school prize plate of Church of Scotland Sunday School on the first endpaper - as shown). 
Illustrations: Complete with the nice frontispiece by Margaret W. Tarrant.

The illustrator: Margaret Winifred Tarrant (1888 – 29 July 1959) was an English illustrator, and children's author, specializing in depictions of fairy-like children and religious subjects. She began her career at the age of 20 and painted and published into the early 1950s. She was known for her children's books, postcards, calendars, and print reproductions.
