The books: Rare and Attractive Set comprises two distinct works by A. A. Milne, both presented in a uniform deluxe binding. "The Day's Play" is a collection of articles and verses that were previously published in "Punch," showcasing Milne's wit and humor. On the other hand, "If I May" is a compilation of mainly essays that had earlier appeared in various newspapers and magazines, including The Sphere, The Daily News, and the American Vanity Fair. Together, these works offer a comprehensive view of Milne's versatility as a writer, capturing his unique voice and perspective on a range of topics. This edition, with its deluxe binding, is a testament to the enduring charm and significance of Milne's non-Pooh writings.

The author: Alan Alexander Milne (18 January 1882 – 31 January 1956) was an English author best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh and for various children's poems. Milne was a noted writer, primarily as a playwright, before the huge success of Pooh overshadowed all his previous work.
