Binding: Attractive and very good original gilt decorated full-cloth binding (hinges fine, overall slightly worn and scuffed - as shown) under a protective removable mylar cover. Top edge red.
Content: Very good content (bright, tight, and clean, rare light foxing - as shown, some light bleeding of the upper red edge to the upper margin of color illustrations only probably due to the glassy paper - as shown). 
Illustrations: Complete with the captivating illustrated endpaper, the color frontispiece, 11 full-page color plates, each with a printed tissue guard and 17 full-page black&white line drawings throughout the text by Arthur Rackham.
